COVID-19 Safety and Sanitary Procedures

Studio Booth has always taken great pride in our cleanliness and sanitary practices. We have gone above and beyond to ensure we are implementing extensive safety precautions to protect our guests and staff during the COVID-19 pandemic, ensuring a safe, healthy environment for all. We sincerely appreciate your patience and cooperation during these unprecedented times.

Facility Precautions:

• Please note that when you schedule your appointment, we kindly as that you provide us with your credit card payment information over the phone to avoid the exchange of any type of currency at the front desk. 
• Each guest will be greeted outside of the salon and their temperature will be taken. 
• Once you enter the facility, each client receives a new sanitary mask.
• We ask you to thoroughly wash your hands with soap and water at our hand-washing station.
• You'll receive a clean robe to wear during your visit.
• We've installed protective shields at the front desk and at manicure stations.
• Each hair station is 6-feet apart.
• There are hand-sanitizer stations placed throughout our 5,000 sq. foot facility.
• All of our stylists are Barbicide Certified to ensure the highest standard of sanitary guidelines.
• We will have a sanitizing station for your phone, watch, keys, etc. 

We also sanitize each individual station, the front desk, our coffee bar, and the door handles, all glassware is sanitized twice in a commercial-grade dishwasher, however, we also provide disposable cups upon request. We provide each guest with hand sanitizer upon arrival as well as an anti-bacterial soap at our sinks. 

State-of-the-Art Central Exhaust System

We are the only salon in Pittsburgh that has a state-of-the-art central exhaust system that collects microbes locally at each styling station, the shampoo sinks, the dispensary, the pedicure and nail finishing area, and the restrooms. All of the exhausted air is replenished by filtered, fresh air brought in through forced-air HVAC units. This system operates continuously during occupied hours, resulting in a fresh, fragrant-free environment. ⁣⁣⁣We are also one of the only salons in the area with a pure/saltwater filtration system in our pedicure bowls, meaning that each time you get a pedicure, that water is 100% pure and fresh; never re-used from a previous client.
